COOKIES POLICY
How brunu.io uses cookies.
Last updated: 2026-05-14
This page covers cookies set by brunu.io (the marketing site). The Brunu app at brunu.ai has its own separate policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember things across page loads — whether you’re signed in, what language you prefer, which marketing campaign referred you. Some are essential. Some are optional.
2. What cookies brunu.io sets
Essential cookies
We do not currently set persistent first-party cookies on brunu.io. The site is statically generated and does not require sessions.
Third-party cookies (loaded indirectly)
- Netlify — our static hosting provider may set internal performance cookies. Netlify privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — font files are loaded from
fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log the IP that requests the fonts. We use Google Fonts only for rendering — no tracking pixels. - Affiliate referral parameter — if you arrive via a partner link with a
?ref=parameter, we may write that value to a first-party cookie on brunu.ai (not brunu.io) so the referring partner can be credited if you subscribe. The cookie expires after 30 days. No personally identifiable information is stored.
3. What we do not do
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on brunu.io.
- We do not load Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar marketing pixels.
- We do not sell or share any cookie-derived data with brokers.
- We do not use cookies to train AI models.
4. How to control cookies
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. Where to find the controls:
- Safari (macOS / iOS): Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking cookies will not break brunu.io. The marketing site works fully without them. Blocking cookies on brunu.ai (the app) will prevent sign-in and some features.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add a cookie that meaningfully tracks behavior or identifies users, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. We will not silently introduce trackers.
